SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION OF RESULTS

Results day is Thursday 20th August 2026. Year 11 students need to collect their results from the school on this day between 9.00-10.30am

Students must collect their results in person. If a student is unable to collect their results in person, they need to nominate an adult over the age of 18 to collect their results on their behalf. To do this the student needs to download and complete the ‘Candidate Permission Form-Collecting Results.’ This completed form can be provided to the school in advance or brought in to school on results day by the students nominated person. Nominated persons must bring with them photographic ID when collecting results such as a driving license or passport.

SUMMER 2025 COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES

Year 11 Leaver students are now able to collect their certificates from the school during normal school hours.

Students must collect their certificates in person and bring ID such as a student ID card or bank card. If a student is unable to collect their certificates in person, they need to nominate an adult over the age of 18 to collect their certificates on their behalf. To do this the student needs to download and complete the ‘Candidate Permission Form-Collecting Certificates’ form .The nominated person then needs to bring this completed form and photographic ID (such as a passport or driving license) to school reception when collecting certificates.

Student Information on Examinations

  • Students should arrive in good time for all examinations.
  • Students must be in the examination room/hall for 9.00 am for morning examinations and 1.00 pm for afternoon examinations.
  • Some afternoon examinations may finish after 2.45 pm.
  • KS4 students will receive an individual Seating plan for their examinations informing them of where in the examination hall they will be sat for each examination. Students must check their seat number before entering the examination room and know their candidate number.
  • Students must not have any electronic equipment including mobile phones, ipads, ipods, MP3 players, wrist watches with them OR in their pockets, even if they are switched off or have batteries removed. They must be left in student lockers, (all students to have an allocated locker).
  • Bags are not allowed in examination rooms and should be left in the student lockers.
  • Students should enter the examination room in silence. No talking or contact with other students should be made until examinations have been completed and students are outside the examination room.
  • Students should make sure they have all the necessary equipment for their examinations – pen (black ink only) plus spare, pencils, pencil sharpener, ruler, eraser etc.
  • Some examinations may require additional specialist equipment e.g., calculator, geometry equipment, copies of textbooks or art materials.
  • Calculator covers are no longer allowed in examination rooms and should be left in bags/lockers.
  • Students are NOT allowed to use Tippex, correcting or gel pens in any examinations.
  • All equipment must be in a transparent pencil case or plastic bag.
  • Students must ensure that they write their legal name on all examination papers.
  • Students must not write inappropriate, obscene or offensive material on their examination papers.
  • If you try to cheat or break the rules in any way you could be disqualified from all your subjects. Incidents of cheating include bringing notes into the examination hall, having a mobile phone on you (even if it is turned off), copying another student’s work etc.
  • External examinations cannot be completed at any other time than stated on the student’s examination timetable.
  • Students should inform the Examinations Officer immediately of any change of circumstances e.g., injuries or illness.
  • Students should eat breakfast or lunch before examinations.
  • No drinks, sweets or food are allowed in examination rooms unless for medical reasons. Water can be taken into the examination hall as long as it is in a transparent bottle with the label removed.
  • Students must wear full school uniform to all examinations.
